Volunteer Weekend at Outward Bound
It's that time of year again! We are recruiting a bunch of keen beans to get stuck in and help us clear up the grounds at the Outward Bound School.
This is a fantastic opportunity to give back, meet a bunch of great people and play your part in keeping the Outward Bound School the beautiful place that it is.
Who:
You! and friends and family are more than welcome to attend also.
When & Where:
Saturday 20th Feburary - Monday 22nd Feburary 2010. Meeting at the Outward Bound School in Anakiwa between 1.30-2pm on the Saturday.
What:
Work this time will be clearing the stream/ bush area up behind the boatshed..... with the usual bonfire for the rubbish.
Travel:
Volunteers are responsible for the cost of travel.
North Islanders will be on the 10.25am ferry from Wellington arriving at Picton at 1.35pm and taken by boat to Anakiwa. The ferry back is at 2.25pm on Monday the 22nd, arriving in Wellington at 5.35pm. The cost will be $80 for the return ticket, per person.
South Islanders are to be at the Outward Bound school between 1.30pm and 2pm. Shared cost of travel will be arranged when we know how many people are coming from this area.
Accommodation and Food:
Accommodation will be in the watch-houses. All food is provided. BYO alcohol (limited please).
