Dick Hubbard (the founder of Hubbards Cereal) is a big supporter of Outward Bound. He completed a course in 1964 and says the discipline and determination he gained from the lessons at Outward Bound have helped him deal with tough times in business. In fact it was with the courage to try new things, which Dick experienced during his course, thatled him to start Hubbards Cereal. In 1995 he started the fantastic relationship between Hubbards and Outward Bound that still continues today.
Hubbards, a leading brand in breakfast cereals, created the Outward Bound cereal which over the years has extended to three varieties. The lastest Outward Bound cereal being the Power 8 energy cereal. An anytime of day energy boosting cereal with 8 ingredients for all day energy - wholegrains, fibre, iron and five B vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B6 and folate)

Proceeds from the sales of these cereals go to helping participants attend an Outward Bound course and other costs such as equipment purchases.
As well as the cereal support, Hubbards also offer scholarships annually to give their customers an opportunity to attend one of our courses.
