In 2012 we are celebrating 50 years of Outward Bound in New Zealand.
We have an exciting schedule of events we are planning throughout the year, many of which you can be involved in.

Regional Functions
We are also looking for Council Members or past participants to help co-ordinate regional functions throughout the year to celebrate what Outward Bound has done for youth in their communities.

15 March | 50th Anniversary Golf Tournament: multi-team golfing event - Gulf Harbour, Whangaparaoa. Event details here. |
31 March | Kathmandu Adventure Race Series - Diary this Date, Saturday 31 March 2012 starting at Outward Bound School, Anakiwa. Event details here. |
19 April | Documentary premiere: 45 minute documentary on Outward Bound New Zealand as seen through the eyes of our Alumni - Park Road Studios, Wellington. Invitation only. |
11 May | Christchurch regional event in conjunction with Mid-Year Council Meeting. |
16 May | Wanganui regional event. For details contact Margaret Robinson. |
7 June | Asburton Regional Event. For details contact Angela Cushire. |
1 September | Black tie dinner: official 50th Anniversary celebratory function - Auckland War Memorial Museum, Auckland. Tickets on sale in June. |
26-28 October | Outward Bound staff reunion - Anakiwa, Marlborough Sounds. Register here. |
24 November | Alumni half-marathon in conjunction with a course finish - Anakiwa, Marlborough Sounds. Entry form to come soon. |
