Full weekend package includes:

Attendance for the whole weekend; morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea on Saturday and Sunday; Semi Formal Dinner, speeches and band; activities on Sunday.

Saturday package includes:

Optional registration on Friday; Attendance all day Saturday including morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea; Semi Formal Dinner, speeches and band.

Refund policy

A full refund less $10 admin fee will be issued if you have to pull out of the weekend before 31 July 2012. After the 31 July 2012, you will receive a full refund less $10 admin fee if we are able to replace your spot from the waitlist. If we are unable to do this you will receive a 50% refund. No refund will be given in the final week leading up to the event, except in the case of a serious illness/emergency.

Sunday Activity options (for Option A only)

There will be an optional P.T., Swim, 3.2km run at 6.20 am for anybody keen.

There are two Half Day activity slots (9am-12pm and 12.45-3.15pm) or one Full Day activity slot (9am-3.15pm) to choose from. Please select in order of preference the activities that you wish to participate in. 1 = First choice, etc.

You may wish to just come for the day and enjoy Anakiwa, have lunch, socialise, look at displays, visit OB shop and watch activities.

After activities there will be a final wrap-up and tree planting project, finishing at 4.00pm.

Half day activities

  • Ropes Course

  • Cutter Racing Regatta  
  • Mistletoe to Anakiwa Run (12km)
  • Service
  • Mountain bike on Queen Charlotte (own bike required)

Full day

  • Launch Trip to T.K. for picnic. Option of running back from Mistletoe
  • Kayak Trip (group to decide where to go on the day: Surf, Waka, Pelorus, Ria. Beginner or instructor level) 
  • Mistletoe to Anakiwa Walk (12km)

Conditions for Sunday activities
  • I understand that if I choose to do a Sunday Activity, I will be required to sign a medical declaration form.
  • Whilst every care will be taken by Outward Bound and its staff in providing these activities, I understand that I undertake these activities at my own risk and that I am responsible for whatever happens to me. I release the Outward Bound Trust of New Zealand from any liability associated with any injury, sickness or accident that may occur.
  • I understand that in the case of adverse weather conditions, Outward Bound may decide not to run some of these activities. As a result I will not be eligible for a refund. And that under these circumstances, this money will be donated to the Outward Bound Trust of New Zealand.
  • I undertake to not drink any alcohol on the Sunday when these activities are taking place.
  • I agree to follow all directions given by the instructors managing the activity.
