Funding Your Course

Deposit

To be enrolled on a course we require a $300 deposit. This deposit is not refundable if you postpone or cancel. It is transferable to one other course up to 21 days before the course start date (subject to course availability). You can book your course and pay by credit card from the course page or you can call us on 0800 688927 or +64 4 4723440. 

If you would like to make a bank transfer you can get our account details by clicking here and sending the email that pops up. This will generate a reply to your email with our bank account details and what you need to do.

Payment

Full payment must be received eight weeks prior to the start date of the booked course (six weeks for professional enrolments). You are welcome to pay your course fees in installments, as long as the full amount is paid 8 weeks before your course starts. Payment can be made by credit card, direct credit, cheque or cash (please do not post cash through the mail).

Raising Funds for Your Course

There are many ways people pay for their course. If funds are your barrier to attending, we are here to help you. We will take you through the process of raising your course fees. There are three steps to follow:

  1. Your contribution - from savings, family/friends, your employer or fundraising activities
  2. Your community - service clubs, interest groups, local businesses
  3. Financial support - accessed through Outward Bound on your behalf
