All participants on courses at Outward Bound are required to complete an Outward Bound medical form with a doctor. The medical is only to ensure that any conditions that may prevent safe completion of the course are identified. The medical is due 8 weeks before your course starts and is valid for 90 days. If your form is completed too early you will be asked to get your doctor to re-sign your form. The medical is completed at your expense and usually costs in the region of $30-70.

The medical form will be sent out with your registration/enrolment letter, advising the dates for completion. Your completed medical will be assessed by our nurse. Final acceptance to Outward Bound is subject to approval by your doctor and our nurse.
