OB Instructors raising money for Limbs 4 All

The 20/20 challenge is an initiative fundraiser run by the Outward Bound Anakiwa community to fundraise for Limbs 4 All. The original challenge being for 20 instructors to run/walk the Queen Charlottle track in under 20 hours. Now in its third year, it has raised over $10,000 towards providing prosthetic limbs to people in developing countries.

Limbs 4 All Charitable Trust

Limbs4All is committed to helping some of the 400 million disabled people in the world to express their potential by supporting projects and individuals both within New Zealand and world wide.

The Challenge

In the past we have run, biked and grovelled for long periods in mud, rain and darkness. This year it’s more of the same! Our challenge is to run or bike or run/bike the length of the Queen Charlotte track non-stop all 67km. We have individual and team relay options.

Why

As instructors, staff and families we feel we also need to push outside our comfort zone and realise our limits. In doing so, we hope to raise awareness for this charity (and of muscles we thought we never had!!)

How to sponsor us (maybe payback time on your old instructor!!)
