Outward Bound NZ inspires personal and social development through value-based experiential learning in the outdoors. Our instructors are key to delivering high-quality courses. Working in pairs, you’ll lead a ‘watch’ of 14 students through tramping, sailing, kayaking, rock climbing, and high ropes – safely managing activities while fostering personal growth.

More than technical skills, this role requires exceptional people skills. You’ll create a supportive environment, challenge students beyond their comfort zones, and facilitate meaningful learning based on our kaupapa.
