For John Gluckman, life has always been about pushing boundaries—both physical and personal. His journey began in 1968 with a 23-day Outward Bound course at Anakiwa.

September is Wills Month in Aotearoa and is a good reminder of the importance of having a Will and updating it regularly. This month, we would love for you to consider including a gift in your will to Outward Bound.

Former Outward Bound Instructor, Bernie Gunn, has set himself the goal of fundraising the entire course fee for a full watch of 14 Hawke's Bay rangatahi.

OB Instructors Luke and Robbie planned to run 35km a day for 30 days, travelling form Bluff to Anakiwa and raise $10k for Outward Bound scholarships. The pair ended up travelling all the way to Cape Reinga!

Valued supporter and alumni Heather Black (Scott 383) has been volunteering at a refugee centre in Romania where she has met many incredible teenagers who have had their lives and their stability disrupted by the war in Ukraine.

OBNZ needs to raise $24,809 to be able to run two new courses for disabled young people. The great news is that all donations will be MATCHED thanks to several generous donors. Every dollar you give will be DOUBLED to help disabled young people.
