HomeWe are always seeking volunteers who are keen to give back to Outward Bound and become support workers for our disability courses. This is a great opportunity to help others get the most out of their OB experience.
Criteria
Being a support worker involves supporting a watch of Outward Bound participants, with either intellectual disabilities or physical disabilities.
- You must have completed an Outward Bound course
- Have the enthusiasm, maturity and patience to deal with the demands of the role
- Ideally, have some experience working with those with disabilities
- Be available for 9 days (8 days of course + arrival one day early to prepare)
- Pass our medical screening criteria (just the same as when you attended your own course)
